About PUBG LITE

PUBG Lite is a free-to-play, online multiplayer battle royale FPS game developed and published by PUBG Studios, a subsidiary of South Korean video game company Krafton. It is adapted from the original Playerunknown's Battlegrounds using the same Unreal Engine 4. It allows players to experience the original PlayerUnkown's Battlegrounds for free even with low spec PCs that are incapable of running the original game. PUBG Lite also initially given name as Project Thai released on January 24, 2019, as a closed beta only in Thailand. After a few weeks, the game was made available in nine southeast countries with more coming in the future. The game started with two of PUBG's classic maps: Erangel and Miramar. Much more content was released later on with regular updates every two weeks.
