A battle royale match consists of up to 50 players parachuting onto an island in search of weapons and equipment to kill the other players. PUBG Lite is a free-to-play, online multiplayer battle royale FPS game developed and published by PUBG Studios, a subsidiary of South Korean video game company Krafton. It is adapted from the original Playerunknown's Battlegrounds using the same Unreal Engine 4. It allows players to experience the original PlayerUnkown's Battlegrounds for free even with low spec PCs that are incapable of running the original game. PUBG Lite also initially given name as Project Thai released on January 24, 2019, as a closed beta only in Thailand.
